FindMyLost
is an online database that, in just a few steps, allows
to search for lost items
, from anywhere and at any time (“I lost” button)
• By registering on the platform, not only it is possible to carry out a search in the found objects database, but also communicate -
via the integrated messaging system
- with the dedicated operators and activate an alert if your object has not yet been found.
• The lost objects are visible on the platform for up to one year from the date of finding as per current legislation (articles 927 and following of the Civil Code). The item storage service is free

The return of the object
to the legitimate owner (or his or her delegate) or to the finder (after one year from the publication of the objects found in the Notice Board without the object having been claimed by the owner) is a task of the Citizen Help Desk (SAC) located in Via Punta del Forno, 2 in Trieste:

• As for
the return of non-valuable objects
(such as, for example, glasses, umbrellas, clothing and personal accessories, etc.), you can go to the
Citizen Help Desk (SAC)
, open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and on Mondays and Wednesdays also from 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm. We recommend arranging an appointment on the website

or via the free CODAQ app. It is also possible to arrange an appointment via the messaging system integrated into the FindMyLost platform.
• As for the
return of valuable objects
(IT devices, jewelry, etc...),
documents and/or
particularly bulky objects
(suitcases, travel bags, etc...) it is always necessary arranging an appointment via the FindMyLost platform messaging system.
• The return of the found object can also take place via the optional shipping system integrated in the platform.
This optional service is subject to a
fee and is
not
under the responsibility of the Municipality of Trieste but of FindMyLost, on which also depends the choice of courier. Shipping is not insured; we invite you to carefully read the relevant conditions of use of the service.
• Whether, on the contrary, you have
found an object
in the municipal area, simply go to the Citizen Help Desk (SAC) during opening hours and hand it over to the operators in charge who will take
care of registration and advertising (on the platform).
